You know how I've always wondered what is the correct pair of underwear to wear to the doctor? Well, I got the answer today....it's any pair you don't mind your doctor seeing.
Which means my leopard print thong went over really well this morning. Especially when my 27 year old cutie doctor went to stick the pads to the electrical stimulation down my pants....(just typing that makes me shudder.) I'm sure he got quite the surprise when all he felt was cheek....
Now I know I'm just another body to him and he doesn't care if I wear underwear much less what it looks like but I on the other hand wanted to DIE. OF. MORTIFICATION.
All I can picture is of him thinking "Oh God, if I wash my eyeballs out will that get rid of the picture in my mind?"
I'll be prepared on Friday....now where did I put those granny panties....

I once had a really HOT guy i went to High school with & had a massive crush on... that was now a recovery nurse ... hand a clear zip bag containing my shiny yellow barely thong undies to my MOTHER after a surprise rushed surgery...
So glad I was starting to feel the morphine drip kickin in...
now ANY time i even think i'm gonna have to go to the doc / ER... I make sure I have on a good pair of clean undies.
Oh, the stories that I could tell, with my husband working at the hosptial. Here's something else you should know - no metal jewelry on the undies (including rhinestone gems). They show up on x-rays, making the tech ask you to remove them before they can continue.
Sometimes, I get to busy and I don't have my legs, and those are the doctor visits that I die of embarassment. Granny panties were the only thing I could put on while I pregnant and I shudder thinking about those days in addition to not shaving because I could not reach or I was just tried. Now, i am not saying I would wear a thong to the doctor's office or even a pair of leopards, but something silk and maybe a little high risey might me more along the lines of reason.
OMG that is about the best laugh I had in a while. Sorry it was at your expense but this really did crack me up :o) Could've been right out of the movie.
